    My Dream Come True

    I’ll start by saying that I have very specific taste. While planning my home design, I knew the exact shape and height I wanted in my space - and a 9+ ft Norway Spruce was surprisingly slightly difficult to find. This tree is PERFECT to me and I waited more months (years) than I care to admit for it to go on 25% off. We just received the shipment for our tree (ordered in April) this week and it arrived in two rather hideous boxes, one of which was missing banding. But the tree is in perfect condition. Assembly was as easy as it should have/could have been and because it was shipped in two boxes, there was very minimal fluffing and arranging that needed to occur. The branches are lifelike and hold their shape without issue. I’m obsessed with the small, perfectly bright lights. There’s just the right amount and the display settings button is easy to operate. One thing that bothered me at first is that the “fill” of the tree is a different material than the most visible branches. Trunk and 1/2 or so of the branches are the traditional, scratchy fake looking material you’d see in a cheap tree from the 90s. But for whatever reason, it truly works as it gives the tree depth and fullness without adding a ton of weight to the sections. I put the tree up early in mid October because I wanted to ensure there was no damage. And while I don’t plan to decorate it until mid November, I am so happy with the new addition to our living room and I’ll be sad to see it go at the end of…
